Because of Emma's late summer birthday, she'll be starting kindergarten next school year, which just about breaks my heart to think how fast time really went by. She is pure delight to this mama! But she is ready. Aside from having an incredible (!!!) memory and the fact that she is teaching herself to read, she likes to "do homework"... as in, she makes up things to do, then calls it homework.
Here is an example of some of her work. She named it "Oak Sane Window." Not sure where the name came from.
And here she is transcribing some words from one of her favorite books... just for the sake of it! She then proceeded to memorize them.
