To all who have been requesting a prego belly picture, I finally have one!

Indulge yourself with the lovely view of my lovely little family, and the sight of my 26 week baby boy belly.

Not sure what my exact numbers are for this week, but for the record's sake, at 25 weeks I had gained 17 lbs.

36 weeks

I am writing this post mostly for myself. I want to place in writing a few things that are going on in my pregnancy so that I can look back to them and remember them.

At 36 weeks pregnant:

* I am not dialated. My doctor said that at this point it's common to be 2 - 3 cm dialated. Having said that, she also mentioned that this does not mean anything. Makes me wonder why they even bother checking this early on.
* My doctor also mentioned that our little girl is sitting very low. She made it sound as if that was a good thing.
* I have officially gained 29 lbs. According to books I've read, you should gain between 25 - 35 lbs total. I am quite proud of myself! :)
* For well over 2 months now, I have been walking for about 1 hour every morning Monday - Friday.
* She is still a very laid back baby in my belly. Her times when she moves around the most are late afternoon right around dinner time. I like to believe it's because she hears her daddy's voice.
* And finally, it's at 36 weeks that B and I believe to have agreed on a name for her. It's still not official, and we want to keep our options open in case another one comes up that we like, but I am pleased to say that at this point in our pregnancy, our little girl only has one possible name.

34 weeks

It's hard to believe that I am already 34 weeks pregnant. We had our third and last ultrasound today, to which Memma, Poppa, daddy and "aunt" Lisa went to. Poppa even wore a pink shirt in honor of our little girl.

Our little girl is doing great! She weighs 5 1/2 lbs already and is in the 53%. Our doctor estimates that if she goes full term, she should be born weighing about 8 - 8 1/2 lbs. She also said that she is developing very proportionally.

We learned that if I begin going into labor next week, they would do nothing to stop the birthing process. She also said that in three weeks I would already be considered full term. Which means that even though I am still six weeks away from my due date, our little girl can come as soon as of next week and everything would be perfectly fine!

I am already beginning to have slight contractions, which my doctor was very happy to learn. She said that this is a good indication that I would probably not be induced or have a C-section. Chances that I would not be going past my due date were good ones also because of this.

This is the picture of our little girl's face. We wanted to be able to get a 3D image of her face, but she was a stinker the entire time were were there - her hand was in the way and for some reason this prevented the sonographer from being able to take it. I guess we'll just have to wait a few more weeks before we can see the details of our little one's face.

27 weeks

27 weeks and 19 lbs later...

Today we had our monthly doctor's appointment. Our little girl is doing great! Her heartbeat was unlike other times -- it sounded just like mine! It's strong and at a very steady rate. She likes to move a lot, though she is still a stinker and whenever her daddy puts his hand on mommy's belly, she'll stop moving.

After the appointment i came back home and celebrated with a 2 hour long nap. I cannot believe how tired i get these days. Third trimester is sure sucking out all of my energy.

Memma celebrated her "birthweek" with 2 cupcakes at our doorstep. Mommy and daddy enjoyed them with some ice cream after supper tonight.

22 weeks
