This past Sunday, in response to B's request, my mother and I spent some time in the kitchen preparing a Lebanese dish - baked kibis with garbanzo (hummus) and labne. Needless to say, it was delicious and with enough for leftovers the next day.
I'm intrigued. I googled "Kibis" and all the recipes for it were in Spanish! So, is this a Lebanese dish that is super popular in MX? :) Looks yummy, and that hummus looks fabulous, mmn!
I wonder if it's kind of like Taco Bell where Americans have taken a mexican dish and "americanized it", only this times it's mexicans taking a Lebanese dish and "mexicanicing" it :p
